are you in it for the long run?
The Long Run will feature a give or take 5 mile loop around Jacobsburg State Park. The course takes you on gorgeous single track as well as some flat & fast gravel trails with about 450 ft of elevation change. Runners can complete one loop, or run as many loops as possible in 3 or 6 hours. This year we are bringing you two editions of The Long Run… Spring Forward & Fall Back. The original course will be run in Spring & in Fall we will run it backwards!

This is a zero carbon event, meaning we take into account the emissions released in relation to hosting this trail race. The Running Kind will be subsidizing the cost to offset the event, however there is a fee included in your registration specifically for this cost. This will offset the carbon emissions for your personal travel to and from the event. We are excited to partner with Change Climate Project to support a carbon offset project we believe in.
In addition to going zero carbon at this event, The Running Kind will be collecting monetary donations for the Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center.
